Here’s what we know so far about Wicked 3’s release date estimate, news, and updates.
What is the Wicked 3 release date estimate?
At the moment, there is no official news on Wicked 3’s release date estimate.
Currently, there has been no official announcement regarding Wicked 3. A renewal, release window, or production start date is not confirmed. Wicked (2024) and Wicked: For Good (2025) were released a year apart. Hence, a reasonable assumption is that the earliest potential release for a third installment could be several years away. If the franchise continues its pattern, Wicked 3 might arrive as early as 2026 or 2027. Although a 3–4 year gap is also possible. Wicked 3 news and updates
According to The People, a recent video was posted on Instagram by Ariana Grande. It featured her Wicked: For Good co-star Cynthia Erivo, where they discussed the film during a recent panel. At the beginning of the video, Grande humorously remarked, stating, “You mentioned ‘farewell tour.’ If we’ve learned anything from Cher, we can count on there always being another farewell tour. So I don’t think anyone’s going anywhere.”
Following that, a moderator at the panel inquired of Grande, “Was that a confirmation of Wicked 3 just now?”
The singer, along with several audience members in the video, laughed at the inquiry.
Ariana quickly responded, saying, “No, no, I don’t know, I mean, first of all, I know that there’s a great peace that’s coming along with this coming out, and I think there’s a peace that’s felt, because people will finally get to know the full truth of these women.”
