Whoever raised Brain Jotter did a great job. The backlash in the last few days was enough to turn even a dove into a beastt. But he handled the whole situation with class. His respect for age when he visited the legendary singer, Mike Ejeagha is worth emulating. The calmness with which he speaks… E get some character wey pesin go just see and you would want to be like them. Beyond being successful in his career, Brain Jotter has in the last few days shown that he has great character strength. Anyone without emotional intelligence could have simply said “damnn it, I am deleting the videos so you all can rest.” it was enough to push him to argue and say “oya come and prove to me the part of the law that bars the fair use of a creation” but he didn’t argue with anyone, but with all humility and class, Brain Jotter explained things to his detractors rather than cusslng them.
He said it was a “pleasure and a privilege” to see Mike Ejiagha and he was anxious, such words coming from a guy who is already successful and famous speak humility. “So guys, he’s coming outside,” he and his crew stood up to honor the old man. They bowed their heads to greet. The guy has such influence that everyone who went with him followed his steps. He could have simply walked up to take a photo with Papa but he politely “asked” to take a picture with the legend. The old man shed tearz of joy—to be alive to be honored and celebrated in such a manner in old age must be so fulfilling.
Brain Jotter helped me and millions of others get to know Mike Ejeagha and his creativity while he’s still alive to witness it. No other thing can be more satisfactory than to see your work bear fruits while alive to see it. The truth is, these things are seed. When you honor elders and seniors, you sow a seed to be honored by those coming after you and you attract honor to your parents too, and it is the same thing when you insvlt someone old enough to birth you, even if dem not insvlt your mama, you already prove that she did a poorr job.
What Brain Jotter did is what influencing and impacting lives should look like. God and men will honor Ebuka. He will grow old like Mike Ejeagha and he will reap every fruit of the seed he has sown in the man’s life.
Sincerely, I want to learn how to talk as peacefully as Brain Jotter, with no stress, but calm and calculated, giving respect and honor to whom it’s due, may his light continuously shine and never dim even in old age.
