The release date for Tron Ares LED popcorn bucket and collectible cup at Regal is expected to be October 8. As a pair, we estimate the price to be around $45 to $70; individually, the LED popcorn bucket is projected to be $20-$30 and the cup is projected to be $30-$40.
The October 8 release date is based on the earliest time that viewers can see the movie in theaters as part of the early access screenings. Regal tends to make its merchandise available when a film first appears at the cinema, though we will note that it’s possible that individual Regal theaters might allow customers to buy these popcorn buckets earlier than usual.
Meanwhile, the prices for the LED popcorn bucket and combo are based on how much standard Regal buckets and tumblers tend to be. Regular buckets aren’t that expensive but the light-up feature will make it slightly pricier while the regular tumblers at Regal are priced at around $35 to $40. While this collectible cup is taller than the usual tumbler and lights up from the bottom, we still think it should be about the same price.
