Let’s start this list with Laffey in World of Warships. This is a Tier 10 American destroyer that serves as a Dockyard ship. This means you’ll be able to complete most of the phases for free, with only a handful requiring a purchase.
It’s particularly great for players who like to go aggressive and actively stay in the fight. What you get here is those classic American 5-inch guns, and a burst fire mode to finish off whatever enemies are left. The vessel also has a strong heal, which means you can regenerate health and sustain. This is a ship that will be able to carry you in most situations in the game.
4. Kushiro

Next up is the Kushiro, a Japanese heavy cruiser. This is a ship that was given away as part of the 10th anniversary event in 2025. If you had enough ships in your port where you could collect the festive rewards, you could claim the ship for free! Usually, free ships are horrendous, but that’s not the case with Kushiro.
It’s a ship armed with 203mm Japanese guns, which have a standard cruiser dispersion in the game. It has a very short reload period, which keeps it extremely competitive. You get an exhaust smoke generator, which can be used to disengage, sneak upon your enemies, and even throw torpedoes. It’s a comfortable cruiser.
3. Royal Sovereign

Now we have the premium British battleship, the Royal Sovereign. It’s another one of those historical ships that are just a beauty to look at in World of Warships. It’s a secondary ship which is an absolute pleasure to play at Tier 7. You’ll be equipped with a 15-inch gun at this tier, alongside an improved heal, which makes it powerful.
This makes Royale Sovereign an absolute treat to play. The only thing that holds it back is how it was made available to the public. You either had to gamble for it in a random bundle or pay an inflated price in the Admiral Bundle. That’s why you won’t see a lot of players running with this one.
2. Hull

It’s time for you to get the Tier 10 American Destroyer, Hull. This thing is a beast as it’s a destroyer armed with 203 mm 8-inch guns. It’s a historical ship that closely resembles its real-life configuration. Since it has cruiser-caliber guns, you can do some absolutely mind-boggling things with them. If you catch a cruiser broadside, there’s a good chance you can citadel it.
Any light cruiser you go against won’t stand a chance against this ship, as you’ll be able to blow them, and it also has a good fire rate. However, you need to be careful while dealing with Destroyers, as it’s crucial to keep them at an arm’s length. This ship definitely has a learning curve.
1. Bremen

And finally, we have the best ship in the game, Bremen. This is a German light cruiser, and while it’s not cracked like the Hawaii or the Valparaiso, those vessels will definitely get nerfed at some point. This makes Bremen a safe option to go with. In the right hands, this thing can do magic.
It’s a great fit in most situations, with its quad 155 mm guns bolted on top. It also has very user-friendly torpedoes, which is surprising, as most German cruisers have self-defense torpedoes. You won’t ever have a problem dealing with attacks from your enemies with this one.
