“There’s no reason talking stage should last more than a month” — Nigerian lady says

A Nigerian lady has sparked conversation online after boldly saying there’s absolutely no reason why the talking stage between a man and a woman should last more than one month.

In a video making the rounds, the lady explained that she believes most people already know from the first few days whether they like someone or not — so dragging conversations for months without clear intentions makes no sense.

She broke it down with two scenarios.

According to her, “You met me, you asked for my number. From the moment we start talking, I already know if I want to talk to you or not. If I don’t want to, I’ll say no. If you insist and I still give you my number, the moment you call or text me, I’ll block you immediately.”

Then, speaking about when she actually likes someone, she added:

“If I give you my number and we start talking, one week, two weeks, three weeks — and you’re still saying ‘how are you’, ‘how was your day’ with no intention — please, what are we doing? By one month, I should know what you want. Are you asking me out or you just want to be my phone buddy?”

She went on to say that if a man truly likes her, he should be able to express his intentions clearly within that time frame.

“There’s no way I’ll talk to a guy every day for one month and you haven’t said anything. No! I need to know what we’re doing.
