Insomniac Games was recently hacked by a Ransomware group, resulting in a massive leak of images, documents, and more details about Insomniac and its projects. While mainly everything has been leaked about Insomniac, including several upcoming games, another Sony studio has been caught in the crossfire.
The name of the upcoming Horizon multiplayer game from Guerrilla Games has been leaked. The game has been in development for a while now, and there has not been any information regarding it. However, this new leak hints that Insomniac Games might be involved.

The leaked documents contain a huge number of files, and one of those files includes an image of Guerrilla Games and shows its founding years, employees, and current projects. The current projects mention the title “Hunter’s Gathering,” and it is assumed that this is the title for the developer’s Horizon multiplayer project, which is currently under development.

The leaked image also mentioned outsourcing the developer’s last projects, including the outsourcing budget for Horizon: Forbidden West and Burning Shores DLC expansion. Although the game is in development right now, Hunter’s Gathering could be a codename or just a concept name, and it might be changed when it’s time to announce the release date of the game.
Since this leak comes from the Insomniac Games hack, it means that the developer is somehow involved in the development of the game and is helping Guerrilla Games, and given how the outsourcing budget mentions the previous title and DLC, it seems credible. However, the title of the game does not seem to impress many, and there could be a title change during the development.

The game was an action-adventure title called Spider-Man: The Great Web and was compared to GTA Online. Insomniac’s leak revealed major upcoming projects from the developer, including several unannounced games with their potential release windows, including Marvel’s Venom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, a new Ratchet & Clank game, Marvel’s X-Men title, and a new IP. The leaked roadmap is dated July 2023, with Marvel’s Venom due in FY 2025, Marvel’s Spiderman 3 in FY 2028, Ratchet & Clank in FY 2029, Marvel’s X-Men in FY 2030, and the new IP in FY 2031/2032.
