Spider-Man: Brand New Day is packed with secrets that most fans won’t catch on their first viewing. From hidden comic book references to unexpected cameos like Yelena Belova, which Kevin Feige had earlier revealed, the latest MCU movie rewards sharp-eyed viewers.
All major cameos and easter eggs in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
1. Punisher’s Boat
Peter gets MJ to Frank Castle’s hideout on a boat called Golden Girl. Notably, the vessel directly references Gerry Conway’s Spectacular Spider-Man comic run.
2. Scarlet Witch Callback
After waking from Jean Grey’s mind control in the movie, Bruce Banner says “not again.” Specifically, this moment nods to Wanda Maximoff controlling him in Age of Ultron.
3. Tombstone’s Live-Action Debut
Marvin “Krondon” Jones III plays Tombstone during the villain montage sequence. Previously in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, he voiced an alternate version of the character.
