Disney is slowly beginning to show off more of the film as Avengers: Doomsday ramps up production, this time in the form of a new light show that teases Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
What’s shown off in Avengers: Doomsday’s light show?
During Walt Disney Studios Marketing Expo in Shangai, the company showed off an elaborate light show teasing the next Avengers movie. In it, various promotional images of Doctor Doom could be seen, including his iconic mask, him sitting on a throne of some sort, and then the character forming together some sort of device.
The end of the video sees the Fantastic Four and X-Men logo appear, teasing the future arrival of both groups into the MCU. Check out the light show below:

The confirmed cast for Avengers: Doomsday is going to be massive. So far, several major stars from the MCU have been confirmed to be in the movie, including Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright’s Shuri/Black Panther, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, and Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool.
More names for the upcoming movie include Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent/John Walker, Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s The Thing/Ben Grimm, Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer’s Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast, Lewis Pullman’s Bob/Sentry, Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Joseph Quinn’s Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Winston Duke‘s M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen‘s Ava Starr/Ghost, and Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki.
Several X-Men characters are also coming back for the upcoming movie, including Patrick Stewart‘s Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen‘s Magneto, Alan Cumming‘s Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn‘s Mystique, James Marsden‘s Cyclops, and Channing Tatum‘s Gambit.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in United States theaters on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. Avengers: Secret Wars then follows on December 17, 2027, while Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives before both of those movies on July 31, 2026.
