Professor Aisha Maikudi has been announced as the acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, following a meeting by the university’s senate. 41-year-old Professor Maikudi succeeds Professor Abdulrasheed Naallah, the institutions sixth Vice Chancellor, whose tenure would end on June 30. The senate approved her appointment pending the selection of a substantive Vice Chancellor by the university’s governing council. Prior to this new role, Maikudi, a professor of international law, served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics at the university. The post Professor Aisha Maikudi becomes youngest UniAbuja Acting VC appeared first on www.adng.ng Get free adverts.
