Predator: Badlands reactions are out now, and many of them have revealed whether or not the film is set to feature a post-credits scene, and whether or not the film is connected to Predator: Killer of Killers.

Does Predator: Badlands have a post-credits scene?

For those hoping to see some sort of connection between Killer of Killers and a potential future movie, there isn’t one this time around. According to many who have seen Badlands a bit early, the movie does not feature any type of mid or post-credits scene. This leaves Badlands to be a standalone tale as of now, with no strong connection to the past films as of yet.

Fans were hoping for a potential crossover of sorts following the end of 2025’s Killer of Killers. The animated movie featured a post-credits scene that revealed that the Comanche warrior Naru (played by Amber Midthunder in 2022’s Prey), as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch have been frozen and trapped in cryogenic stasis pods by the Yaujta, the race often known as Predators.

While fans were hoping the pair might show up in Badlands or at least be referenced, it seems like that won’t be happening, at least in this movie.

Badlands is led by Elle Fanning as Thia, a synthetic humanoid robot created by the Weyland-Yutani corporation. Joining Fanning is Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek, who was influenced by stoic outcast heroes like Conan the Barbarian and Mad Max.

Predator: Badlands is directed and produced by Dan Trachtenberg, who co-wrote the screenplay with Patrick Aison, based on characters created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas. This marks Trachtenberg’s third Predator project after previously helming the 2022 prequel Prey and the adult animated Disney+ movie Killers of Killers. It is produced by John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor. The movie has received a surprising PG-13 rating, making it the first in the main Predator franchise to not be rated R.

“Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, Badlands follows a young Predator outcast (played by newcomer Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) who finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Elle Fanning) as he embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Predator: Badlands will be released on November 7, 2025.
