Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi has stirred outrage online after she visited the grave of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and celebrated the moment with a dance tribute, twerking up a fierce storm.
The talented dancer revealed in a post on her Instagram that she recently visited the gravesite of the legendary singer.
During the visit, Korra explained that her performance was her own way of honouring the late music icon, noting that Fela was known for his love of energetic women and expressive dance. She added that her gesture was meant as a playful homage to the legacy he left behind.
According to her, Seun Kuti appreciated the gesture during the visit, acknowledging it as something that aligned with the spirit of Fela’s vibrant lifestyle and cultural influence.
