Figarland Shamrock’s full anime appearance has finally been revealed by One Piece! The surprise reveal reportedly came through a merchandise event in South Korea (via @EMUNOPLA on Twitter/X), where Shamrock’s full-body promotional standee gives us the clearest look so far of one of the final saga’s biggest new villains. The timing could not have been better, as the Elbaf arc’s anime adaptation is currently in full swing.
At first, Shamrock’s appearance looks very similar to Shanks’, as expected; however, with a much colder expression. His holy knight-style clothing and the commanding presence immediately distinguish him from the laid-back Yonko we all know. Along with that mysterious look, Shamrock’s reported look portrays authority and danger, which makes it clear that Oda intends to make him a darker reflection of Shanks.
Figarland Shamrock’s Anime Design Mirrors Shanks With a Dark Twist
The new reported merchandise reveal of Figarland Shamrock makes one thing very clear – Shamrock and Shanks are meant to parallel each other – both share the same red hair, similar facial features, and noble presence, which supports the canon revelation that they are twin brothers.

However, while Shanks often carries a calm and approachable aura, Shamrock appears far more severe and calculated. That contrast is likely intentional – Shanks has long represented freedom, balance, and unpredictability in One Piece. Shamrock, meanwhile, appears to embody order, control, and Celestial Dragon authority.
As the son of Saint Figarland Garling, Shamrock comes from one of the most feared bloodlines in the world. Thus, his design reflects someone raised in power rather than someone who chose freedom like Shanks seemingly did.
This twin dynamic could become one of One Piece‘s final saga’s most interesting dynamics to watch. Because it looks like Oda is not simply introducing another villain – he is presenting a version of Shanks, who was shaped by the World Government.
Shamrock’s One Piece Anime Debut Hyped by Kenjiro Tsuda’s Casting
The new reported look reveal of Shamrock comes after it was officially revealed earlier that popular voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda will be voicing Shamrock in the anime adaptation. This was a major voice casting choice as Tsuda is well known for voicing several intimidating, charismatic, and layered characters across multiple anime series, including some of the fan favourites like Kento Nanami of Jujutsu Kaisen.

He is not new to the One Piece franchise as well – this will be his third role. He previously voiced Yonji of Germa 66 and Gordon in One Piece Film Red. Thus, his deep and commanding voice feels like a natural fit for someone like Shamrock, who must sound noble yet threatening.
Interestingly, Shamrock’s earliest unofficial anime appearance in Episode 887 used Shuichi Ikeda’s voice because, as it was revealed in SBS Volume 114, author Eiichiro Oda initially forgot to inform the anime production team that the figure seen conversing with the Five Elders was actually the newly introduced Figarland Shamrock, Shanks’ identical twin brother, not Shanks himself.
This makes Shamrock’s introduction in the final saga of One Piece even more exciting. The anime adaptation of the Elbaf arc started premiering from April 2026, and in the next episode (One Piece Episode 1160), Elbaf’s cursed prince Loki is expected to make his long-awaited anime debut.
Shamrock’s full role, meanwhile, should become much clearer once that storyline begins adapting the latest manga material and Oda reveals more details about the World Government and Imu.
As of now, we know that Shamrock wields a sword named Cerberus, and its devil fruit abilities are among the most powerful in One Piece‘s final saga. Thus, with Elbaf now underway in the manga and anime, Shamrock’s role is expected to grow even further.
