Jonathan Majors kickstarted 2023 on a pretty high note, as apart from headlining MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he also starred in Michael B. Jordan’s revered Creed III. While it seemed nothing could go wrong for the next big bad of the MCU, he was shortly blacklisted from the MCU after being convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment.

Even though things are looking pretty bleak for Majors on the superhero front, his Creed costar has come forward in support of the Marvel star.

Oftentimes, celebs avoid treading through such matters in public, as given the nature of social media, it doesn’t take long for netizens to raise their pitchforks. Although Michael B. Jordan didn’t heavily delve into the crux of Majors’ legal trouble, which the actor deemed a “tough situation,” he did showcase his support for the Loki star and commended Majors’ resilience (via GQ).
But he’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy.
Moreover, Jordan, who marked his directorial debut with the Creed threequel, expressed that he is very much open to working with the Ant-Man 3 star again.

Although most felt that Majors’ run in the Creed franchise was as good as over after his conviction, Damian’s return in the following installments seems very much possible after the Black Panther star’s statement.
Jonathan Majors drew parallels with Robert Downey Jr’s past
In contrast to his Creed future, which is very much on the cards now, his potential Marvel return seems unlikely, as Disney has shown no signs of walking back on their decision. Jonathan Majors, who was reasonably heartbroken, drew parallels with Robert Downey Jr’s career, as unlike the Iron Man star, the Ant-Man 3 star expressed that he wasn’t given a second chance (via TMZ).
I think it’s fair that Mr. Downey is being and has been greeted with patience and curiosity and love, and being allowed to work (his) art and be creative at that level. I didn’t really get that.
On the flip side, with RDJ replacing Kang as the multiversal chapter’s big bad, Majors is excited to see what Doom will bring to the table.
