One of the Disneyland theme parks features an interesting collection of Cars-themed posters, which parody popular MCU movies. Pixar’s beloved animated blockbuster franchise currently has a combined worldwide gross of more than $1.4 billion.
Which MCU movies were given Cars-themed parody posters?
In the Disneyland photos shared by Critter Club on X, Marvel Studios’ Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Deadpool & Wolverine movies were hilariously given Cars-themed parody posters, which are currently posted at the theme park. In addition, each movie also received a clever new title to fit the Cars theme, such as Iron Van, Captain Ameri-Car, Guardians of the Galaxy Station, and Carpool & Gasoline.
Cars parody posters of Avengers movies have been put on the work walls that separate the two lands, where a new restroom is being built. My personal favorite being Guardians of the Gas Station. pic.twitter.com/VH7yMbw503— Critter Club (@CritterClubHQ) February 20, 2026
At the moment, Marvel Studios has two major movies heading to theaters this year, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day with Tom Holland and the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. Both movies are part of the MCU’s Phase Six. The latter will feature the return of Academy Award winner Robert Downey Jr. as he takes on a completely different character in the form of Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom. Set to arrive in theaters on December 18, the fifth Avengers movie is once again directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Afterward, it will then be followed by the theatrical release of Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
The animated franchise was created by John Lasseter. Due to its success, the original 2006 movie was followed by two more sequels in 2011 and 2017, as well as two spinoff films titled Planes in 2013 and Planes: Fire & Rescue in 2014. At the moment, Pixar is working on a Cars spin-off series, titled Cars: Lightning Racers, which is expected to debut sometime in 2027.
