Masters of the Universe has more post-credit scenes than fans might expect. So, make sure to remain seated till the very end this weekend.

Directed by Travis Knight, Masters of the Universe is the second live-action adaptation after the 1987 film. The sword and sorcery flick stars Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Charlotte Riley, Morena Baccarin, Kristen Wiig, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, and Idris Elba in key roles, among others. The film is backed by Mattel Studios and Escape Artists.

How many post-credit scenes does Masters of the Universe have?

Master of the Universe will have three post-credit scenes, according to ComicBookMovie.com. The report reveals that the first scene comes right before the closing credits, while the second and longest plays right after. The third and final post-credit scene comes at the end, after the credits.

Without spoiling what’s in store for fans, the report also disclosed that two of the scenes are “fairly inconsequential.” However, one of them directly builds up to what’s to come in a potential Masters of the Universe sequel.

The makers are yet to greenlight another installment. Given the dull forecasts for the film, an estimated domestic debut between $25-$40 million, the chances of a sequel seem questionable at the moment.

The synopsis for the film reads, “After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.”

Masters of the Universe is slated to release in theaters on June 5, 2026.
