Kim Kardashian is known for her high-spending purchases and collecting memorabilia. But one of the most special items she purchased was her father, Robert Kardashian Sr.’s Bible, which he had gifted to O.J. Simpson before his passing.
While attending Khloé Kardashian’s Khloe in WonderLand podcast, Kim revealed she purchased the book last year from an auction hosted by the estate of O.J. Simpson. Although she attempted to purchase it before the auction, the estate declined, leading her to fight for the book.
Kim, who has a net worth of around $2 billion (via Celebrity Net Worth), spent $80,000 and 12 hours in a bidding war.
We were going for 12 hours straight in Hawaii. And once you bid, it pushes it 30 minutes. Once you do a last bid, it pushes the auction 30 more minutes on certain auction houses. And so 12 hours we were fighting and fighting and fighting and they wouldn’t let up,
Despite trying to find out who was bidding against her, she never found out. While she thought it might be her sisters, the person remains anonymous to this day. Having used an alias to purchase the item, she later gifted it to Khloé.
Kim Kardashian Reveals Wesley Snipes Once Saved Her Life

Kim Kardashian, while appearing on her sister’s podcast, also revealed how Marvel star Wesley Snipes once saved her life when she was just a teenager. When she was just around 17, she went on a trip to New York City with her friends and went to a club. Her friend wrote her father’s address on her hand and gave her a $20 bill in case they lost each other.
After the club, they went to a house party, where things took a drastic turn, and Kim was left alone and even lost money.
So, at the end of the night, it’s like 5 a.m., we’re at this house party, no one to be found. [I] cannot find anyone. Don’t have my money. — realize my $20 is gone. All I have is this address.
She went outside and spotted Wesley Snipes and asked him to give her a ride home. Snipes agreed, but he also stated that he would only if they first stopped for breakfast. While he did not find Snipes creepy or anything, he did give her a good earful, like he was her father, while having breakfast.
‘I don’t know how old you are, but you’re too young to be out this late. You’re too young to be at parties, if there was a house party there or whatever… You shouldn’t be out at the clubs. You shouldn’t be at these things. I’m going to take you home, and I never want to see you out at these things until you’re old enough.’
Kim remembered Snipes’ words, adding that she never met him again after that, but the actor saved her life and schooled the sh*t out of her. His words stayed with her for a long time and gave a shout-out to the Blade legend for saving a teenage girl.
Kim Kardashian Hasn’t Done Grocery Shopping in Years
Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian talked about a lot of things, from visits to Michael Jackson’s Neverland to the O.J. Simpson trial. While discussing their teenage stories, Khloé played the When Was the Last Time game with her sister.
During the game, Khloé asked the SKIMS founder about when she did some everyday, mundane tasks like grocery shopping. Kim replied:
I feel like we went to Erewhon on our show six years ago or something. But before that, maybe 12 years. Yeah, it’s probably been like 15 years, I’ve been begging Ralphs to close. I want to roam through. I’ll go, I’ll go.
That came across as a shock for the younger sister, who suggested they could go after the podcast. However, Kim remarked that she still goes to the mall all the time along with her daughter, North.
As for other tasks, despite enjoying vacuuming, Kim hasn’t done it in years, or gone to a nail salon in decades, but she does wash her dishes all the time, does laundry, cooks for her kids, cleans the house, and pumps her own gas.
