Many changes have been introduced into the DC Universe in the wake of the DC K.O. event. Beyond the disappearance of Superman, many heroes had visions of things they must to do avert a coming crisis. This has surprisingly prompted one former Justice League member to turn on his allies for reasons that are unclear.
The hero turned villain was revealed in New Titans #34 by Tate Brombal and Sami Basri. The previous issue found the Titans trapped in a time loop. Consequently, the next generation of heroes after the Justice League kept fighting the same battles and experiencing the same young adult drama. The issue ended with the apparent death of Donna Troy and Arsenal and the arrival of Jon Kent, Wonder Girl, Batgirl, and Kid Devil.

As a fight subsequently broke out, the younger heroes informed the Titans that they had been trapped in a virtual reality simulation. They further explained that they were put there by a former Justice League member who had gone rogue. The New Titans then revealed the hero who had assembled them, as well as the traitor in their midst.
What Justice League member is now evil?
The leader of the New Titans was Vic Stone, but without any of the cybernetics that made him Cyborg. The Cyborg among the Titans suddenly vanished after being exposed as an all-mechanical being. Vic explained this was all to do with the events following the final battle of the DC K.O. event.

Exposed to the Alpha Energy of Creation, Vic’s body was completely healed. However, it also split the part of him that was machine off into another being simply called Cyborg. Despite this, the new Cyborg apparently still cared about his teammates in the Justice League and Titans, hence why he tried to put them in an artificial environment where they could be together forever. It is unclear why the new Cyborg did this, but likely ties into whatever it believes it must do to avert the coming Crisis.
New Titans #34 is now available at comic shops everywhere.
