Disney+ has set the release date of the upcoming original anime, Bullet/Bullet, from Sunghoo Park, the director of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1. Announced in November 2022, he has been working on this anime’s plot for almost a decade. Furthermore, Bullet/Bullet will take place in a post-apocalyptic world in the future. Fans will get to see all the episodes of the upcoming anime in two parts.
Sunghoo Park’s Bullet/Bullet anime after ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ gets July release date
The upcoming original anime, Bullet/Bullet, by director Sunghoo Park, has a release date set for July this year.
According to a report by Variety, the first part of the anime will be out on the streaming platform Disney+ on July 16, 2025. The second part of Bullet/Bullet will drop on the platform a month later, on August 13. Moreover, both parts will have eight episodes each.
While Park was crafting the Bullet/Bullet anime, he also directed two of the biggest projects in recent years, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
The official description of the anime, as per Anime News Network, states that the story focuses on the main protagonist named Gear, “who works at a junk shop.” He later teams up “with a gambling addict named Shirokuma and a Qu-0213 robot that has four personalities, to run a theft business.”
The plot information provided on the anime’s website further added, “The thieves accidentally steal the ‘secrets’ of the world, and the story leads to spectacular battles, breathtaking car chases, and shocking truths being revealed one after another. Eventually, the thieves learn the whole story and put their pride on the line to fight to change the world.”
The voice cast of the anime includes Marina Inoue as Gear, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma, Rie Kugimiya as Qu-0213 Nosa-ane, Kana Hanazawa as Qu-0213 Kau-ane, and many more.
