The Twitch community is once again in turmoil after the shocking allegations that Emiru made against her ex-partner and fellow streamer Mizkif. During a livestream on October 25, 2025, she laid out several disturbing things that happened to her in the past.
There’s been a wave of netizens who’ve been calling to ban Mizkif, plus several viewers, creators, and OTK members have sided with Emiru. #BanMizkif started trending across social media, and people even accused the platform of being too lenient, but Twitch hasn’t announced any official ban or suspension for Mizkif yet.

Emiru shared an emotional account of her psychological abuse, experience of being stalked, s*xually assaulted, harassed, and blackmailed by the hands of Mizkif during their relationship. According to Emiru, she had stayed silent for most of 2025 and tried to move on from the past privately.
But after she heard about the new incidents involving Mizkif in Los Angeles, she had to speak up. She recounted an incident where Mizkif allegedly assaulted her under the guise of providing comfort. Emiru also described his frequent episodes of yelling, door banging, and emotionally volatile behavior.
Emiru admitted to locking herself in the streaming room when Mizkif would yell and scream outside. She also claimed that he threatened to destroy her reputation if she ever spoke about their dynamic: “If she ever talks about me, I’ll destroy her.”
Thankfully, Emiru consulted a lawyer before going public with the information, and now she plans to file a restraining order against him, both in California and Texas (via Tribune). Moreover, this isn’t the first time Mizkif has been linked to such controversy because in the past, he’d been accused of helping cover up s*xual assault involving another streamer.
After Emiru’s stream went viral, Mizkif went live on Twitch to respond and seemed visibly shaken but did not entirely deny the claims. He admitted to the following: punching holes in walls, slamming doors, yelling, and threatening self-harm when they fought.
But he says that the emotional volatility was mutual, and portrayed the relationship to be toxic on both sides, rather than abusive. He also tried to shift the blame and accused Emiru of neglecting her pets, and many viewers saw this as his attempt to undermine her credibility.
Mizkif acknowledged that he felt jealous of Emiru’s rising fame on Twitch, calling his feelings “disgusting.” But this honesty only felt like he was minimizing the abuse while painting himself as a victim, as per most fans.
In a separate livestream, he had another breakdown where he threatened to leak private messages by other creators, and this move was looked down upon by most as an act of intimidation and revenge. The timing of Emiru’s shocking reveal has aligned with another major scandal.
She was assaulted by a stranger at TwitchCon 2025, and after that incident, CEO Dan Clancy publicly admitted to their security failures (via Independent). Since then, Twitch’s accountability is being questioned again, and it’s not just about safety at events, but also how it handles abusive behavior from its top creators.
So, do you think Twitch will ban Mizkif anytime soon?
