Iron Fist star Finn Jones is stoking the proverbial fire surrounding rumored Daredevil: Born Again cast members with his latest social media post.
Amid reports that Marvel Television is exploring ways to bring Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jones has reunited with Jessica Henwick, one of his co-stars on the short-lived Netflix superhero drama series Iron Fist. The actor posted the photo on his Instagram account with the simple caption, “Reunion,” followed by a white heart emoji.

The post was quickly liked by countless MCU fans, as well as by Jones’ The Defenders co-star Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage in the franchise. Check out the Iron Fist reunion photo below:

With Jones geo-tagging the photo in Holland, Netherlands, it’s extremely unlikely that the reunion was brought on by anything MCU-related, as Daredevil: Born Again’s production is entirely set in New York City. However, Jones has made it clear that he is more than willing to reprise his role as Danny Rand/Iron Fist in the MCU.
Last month, he addressed the criticisms fans had with his portrayal of Danny in the Netflix series, stating, “My response to that (criticism) is like, give me a f—ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen.”
Jones isn’t the only Netflix/Marvel actor ready to return to the MCU. Élodie Yung also recently stated that she would jump at the chance to reprise her role as Elektra Natchios. “Oh, absolutely. That was one of the greatest characters that I had to play. Elektra is just a wonderful nutcase. She’s such a rich character. Who would not want to go back [to that role],” she remarked in April 2025.
At this time, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil remains the only superhero confirmed to appear in Born Again Season 2. While Jon Bernthal appeared as The Punisher in Season 1, he has not yet been announced as part of the Season 2 cast.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is slated to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026.
