Who is Invincible’s Machine Head and who voices him?

Machine Head is a cyborg crime lord operating out of Chicago. He operates a protection racket and engages in other illicit activities, such as drug trafficking and insurance fraud. He once employed Titan, coercing him through threats against his family. However, Titan eventually turned against him with Invincible’s help.

His appearance in the series is somewhat similar to DC Comics’ Black Mask, who is a prominent member of Batman’s rogue gallery.

Jeffrey Donovan, best known for his role as Michael Westen in Burn Notice, voices Machine Head. Donovan’s other credits include Changeling, Sicario, and Hitch.

Machine Head’s powers and abilities in Invincible explained

Originally, Machine Head possessed the ability to see quantum probabilities, thanks to an upgrade chip provided by Titan. However, after being arrested by Cecil Stedman in Season 1—and having an electromagnetic pulse used to shut him down—he lost this ability.

Despite this setback, Machine Head remains an exceptional leader and skilled tactician. He commands the loyalty of his henchmen, particularly Isotope. His former ability to predict outcomes allowed him to prepare for Invincible and Titan’s attack in Season 1 by hiring a team of elite villains, including Battle Beast, Magmaniac, Kursk, Furnace, and Tether Tyrant.
