Invincible Season 3 has lived up to the claims made by Robert Kirkman, who believed that every episode of Season 3 was at the same level of quality as the finale of the previous seasons. This is evidenced by the fact that the show’s second highest-rated episode is the third episode of Season 3, which puts it right behind the Season 1 finale of the show.

Invincible‘s third season has come with a lot of updates, from the glaring lack of a mid-season break, and a part of the story that is perhaps the most instrumental in Mark’s narrative going forward. From the debut of the new suit to Oliver entering the superhero scene, this season of Invincible will no doubt eclipse the previous seasons in quality, as attested to by Robert Kirkman.

Invincible was able to make quite the splash with its triple-premiere. Invincible not only decided to go independent, cutting off all connections with Cecil and GDA, but now he is also responsible for Oliver, who has taken orders and does not seem to have a handle on the entire ‘taking orders and respecting boundaries’ thing.

Robert Kirkman, who said that the show might be entering a whole new world of quality and storytelling with seasons 3, also claimed that each episode of Season 3 felt like a season finale of its own, which very much seems to be the case, given the rave reviews that the latest batch of episodes have received on website like IMDb.
The show is going to go into some of the darkest parts of Mark’s story this season, which is bound to feel pretty heavy compared to what previous episodes have depicted. However, the season will also probably feature some of the best fight scenes and action sequences, if it follows the comics faithfully.
Nolan will probably begin his redemption arc in earnest this season

Omni-Man had done some horrible things in season one of the show but seems to have turned a new leaf now. After starting a new family, Nolan seems to be genuinely remorseful about how he treated Debbie, even going so far as to say that he misses her at the end of Season 2.

Whatever small screen-time that Nolan had on-screen showed that he actually going along with his redemption, as evidenced by his concern for Allen. Omni-Man might have resigned him to his fate in the Viltrumite prison, but Allen the Alien is going out of his way to get him to join the Coalition of Planets, given that he is one of the few Viltrumites who have decided to rebel against the Empire.
The show, should it follow the comics, will probably invest some time in Nolan’s adventures once Invincible gets some downtime, which could flesh out the other part of the story, which could eventually set up the reconciliation that Nolan, Mark, and Debbie have in the cards.
