Marvel’s roster of superheroes is increasing with every project. She-Hulk, Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop, Man-Thing, and more were introduced after Avengers: Endgame. But fans haven’t seen much of them again. As such, the wait between seeing each of them onscreen again is progressively increasing.
Previously, during the Infinity War saga, plenty of major characters were introduced in one project and then were followed up in another one. But that’s not the case this time and fans are getting impatient. They are also getting upset because a character who starred in a hit solo film is getting sidelined.
Shang-Chi Not Appearing Anytime Soon In Marvel Again?

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) was released at the height of the pandemic and brought home a cool $432 million at the box office. The film was well-received and praised for its action scenes, diversity, and more. However, the character hasn’t been seen again in the MCU in the myriad projects that have come after it. Yet, fans keep hoping to see him again. But it turns out that the wait will be long.

Marvel fans are baffled by the decision to not make Shang-Chi appear on-screen again. After all, the post-credits scene teaser has everyone wondering where the titular Ten Rings actually originate from. As such, people want answers. However, many also have seemingly valid theories on why MCU is delaying Simu Liu’s hero’s reappearance.

Why hasn’t Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi made another appearance or even a cameo in the several projects that have come after his solo film? No one knows the actual answer to this, but fans are busy guessing. Some think that the character isn’t popular enough while others are of the view that he will show up in Avengers: Kang Dynasty at least.

Recently, Simu Liu conducted an AMA on the new social media platform called Threads and there he was asked about Shang-Chi 2’s release date. He said that the film was initially going to be released after the next Avengers film (presumably Avengers: Kang Dynasty) but it has been delayed. As such, now it’s a wait-and-watch to see when the next Shang-Chi project gets released.
