The world is blessed with many impressive film franchises, one of which happens to be the classic and long-loved tales of 007. The beloved spy was once portrayed by the handsome Pierce Brosnan, who recently shed light on the thoughts on playing the spy, James Bond.
Talking to the British tabloid, The Times, the highly accomplished actor sort of got irritated at first by a question about where Bond would celebrate his Christmas. “I don’t really want to answer the question, and I’m not going to answer the question,” Brosnan stated.
However, he later apologised for the tone, adding,
I’m sorry for not being able to help you with James Bond. It’s something that’ll go on until the day is done.
However, while the recent conversation may seem to be turning south, the actor had previously shown interest in reprising his action role if Denis Villeneuve has a great plan in mind. In his opulent conversation with Radio Times back in August, Brosnan stated, “If Villeneuve had something up his sleeve, I would look at it in a heartbeat.”
For those unversed, Brosnan successfully carried the role of James Bond in four movies from 1995 to 2002. His titles include Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.

Denis Villeneuve Is Already Hunting New Faces for Bond 26

It was back in June this year that Denis Villeneuve was announced as the director to oversee a new Bond project. While no title has been revealed yet, the movie is being regarded as Bond 26.
Interestingly, this will be the first time that a James Bond movie will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Later in September, it was announced that after finishing his work on Dune: Part Three, Villeneuve will hit his journey looking for a new face to play Bond.
As per Deadline, the director is seeking a “fresh face.” Meanwhile, sticking to the scriptures of Ian Fleming, Bond will be male and will hail from the United Kingdom. Insiders close to the highly anticipated project also state that the actor being searched for will be in his late 20s or early 30s.
Denis Villeneuve helming the next James Bond project already seems exciting, looking at the brilliant filmography of the Canadian film director. For those unaware of his grand outings, they include Incendies, released in 2010, along with Prisoners, starring Hugh Jackman, Paul Dano, Jake Gyllenhaal, and others, a film that was released in 2013.
Another project the filmmaker did with the Prince of Persia actor that same year was Enemy. His other highly acclaimed work includes Sicario, Arrival, and Blade Runner 2049.

Now that we know Denis Villeneuve is looking for someone with a British background, we hope to see Tom Hardy or the popular face, Henry Cavill, as his James Bond.
Others who have a high chance to portray the spy are Idris Elba, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack Lowden, and more.
