“I haven’t receive any child support from Davido” – Sophia Momodu
Businesswoman, Sophia Momodu, this morning released a statement addressing claims that she denies her child, Imade, the privilege to celebrate with her dad, Davido and his family.
The Adelekes over the weekend had a family wedding in the US and Imade, wasn’t present at the wedding. Davido’s second daughter, Hailey, was however present at the family wedding.
Some Nigerians stormed Sophia’s social media handles to drag her, accusing her of not allowing Imade familiarize with her Dad’s family members because of whatever issues she has with Davido.
In a statement released this morning, Sophia said she woke up to see the attacks on her and her daughter after the wedding. She mentioned that she has been Imade’s primary caregiver for the past five years now and have handled all Imade’s expenses except her school fees which her paternal grandparent has graciously handle for three years now.
She mentioned that she has not received any child support from Davido and that their daughter however does not lack anything as she provides for her.
She said she has over time made sure that Imade has a good relationship with her father and never denied him access to Imade. She however pointed out that she only prioritizes Imade’s safety and structured schedules for any of her meetings with her dad.
