There are currently 8 ores in Hytale, and each of them can be found in specific biomes across the map. Of course, to mine each one of them, you’re going to need a pickaxe strong enough to extract the ore.
1. Admantitle Ore

Admantitle can be found in Hytale‘s Zone 4 areas, specifically within the Cinder Islands. In order to mine it, you’re going to need an Iron Pickaxe or above. Once you’re in the area, search around the lava pockets. The ore is a block with red fragments on it, which makes it pretty easy to spot. Adamantite can also be found underground in this biome.
2. Copper Ore

Copper can be easily found in Hytale‘s Zone 1 biome. It’s sitting inside caves, and once you’ve managed to find one, look along the walls for copper popping out from the rock. Make sure to bring along a Crude Pickaxe or better to mine this ore.
3. Iron Ore

For Iron Ore, you need to head to the Howling Sands region in the game. The caves in this desert area have tons of Iron ore, and the deeper you go, the more iron you’ll come across. Be sure to use a Copper Pickaxe or better, and keep an eye out for iron deposits.
4. Thorium Ore

Thorium Ore is also easy to find while you’re in the Howling Sands region. This green-colored rore spawns along cliffsides, as well as in the caves. You will need to bring an Iron Pickaxe or better to mine it.
5. Gold Ore

Gold Ore in Hytale can also be found in the Howling Sands region, particularly around the clusters of mushroom-shaped rocks, as shown in the image above. It has a shiny appearance, which makes it easy to find on the surface. You will need an Iron Pickaxe to mine it.
6. Silver Ore

Hytale‘s Snow biome is where you can find Silver Ore. The shiny ore can be spotted right on the mountain surfaces as well as inside the caves in the region. Make sure you have an Iron Pickaxe.
7. Cobalt Ore

The Cobalt ore can also be easily found in the Snow Biome. It appears on mountain surfaces and in the caves. It has a dark blue color and can be mined using an Iron Pickaxe.
8. Mithril Ore

The Mithril Ore can be found in Zone 4, and is easy to obtain in both the Tundra and Vulcano biomes. It’s also a drop if you defeat the giant skeleton boss in the same zone.
