HBO’s adaptation of the highly acclaimed tale of Harry Potter has already entered production for its first season. However, the CEO of HBO, Casey Bloys, gave a startling update about the series. As per Collider, the CEO revealed during a press conference on November 20 that the second season of Harry Potter is already being penned, detailing that the writers are currently coming up with ideas.
I don’t know if it’s going to be like stop shooting Season 1 on Friday and start Season 2 on Monday. There’ll be a break in there, but we’re going to do whatever we can to not have a huge gap. For the kids, obviously, but also for viewers. You know, trying to not have massive gaps. It is a big show, lots of special effects, obviously, massive operation, but we’re going to do what we can.

With the production of the HBO Harry Potter series underway, the writer who imagined the wizarding tale of Hogwarts, J.K. Rowling, made her first visit to the set. According to Deadline, the author came to the set and inspected the progress on the adaptation. In case you don’t know, the filming is in process at the Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as well as at several locations in the United Kingdom.
Sources told the outlet that Rowling’s presence felt like a royal visit, as senior members on the set had punched in her visit in the schedule as well as in their diaries. For those unaware, Rowling serves as the executive producer of the HBO Harry Potter series.
Daniel Radcliffe Writes to New Harry Potter Dominic McLaughlin
The cast of the newly adapted Harry Potter series is very young, almost the same age as when the legendary trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint first set foot in the magical world. Replacing the aforementioned names, it is Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout taking over the role of Ron Weasley.
