Every hero in jujutsu kaisen ranked weakest to strongest
Spread the love

When it comes to Jujutsu Kaisen, there are more than a handful of iconic characters who played key roles in the series’ narrative. With so many characters to choose from, especially the heroes in the anime series, do you ever think about who is the strongest among them? Don’t worry, we’ve got you with our own list. From Kento Nanami to Nobara Kugisaki, here are the strongest heroes from Gege Akutami’s anime series.

10. Panda

If you think Panda is just a fluffy, gentle talking animal in the series, you will be gravely mistaken. Firstly, he’s not a real panda, but a corpse with multiple cores that boost his Cursed Energy. He has three modes that are both ferocious and strong – his normal form, the Gorilla Mode, and the Triceratops Mode.

The only reason Panda is so low on the list is that while he is durable, he greatly lacks finishing strength against high-level opponents. Furthermore, his strongest forms are still outmatched and outpaced by elite Domains and techniques.

9. Toge Inumaki

While Toge Inumaki has one of the strongest Cursed Energies in the series, it is also a glass cannon. His Cursed Speech is absurdly powerful and can paralyse, blast, curse, or even command his enemies. It is displayed that his technique can bring down foes no matter how strong they are.

However, every time Toge uses his techniques, he is met with fatal repercussions like coughing out blood, throat injuries, and burnouts – the stronger the command, the more intense the self-damage. His powers serve at best as a support role rather than a standalone fighter.

8. Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara Kugisaki was one of the strongest female characters in the series, and for good reasons. Her Straw Doll technique was extremely lethal and powerful, allowing her to damage enemies through linked objects and body parts while ignoring durability and range. Furthermore, she had strong willpower and pain tolerance.

However, with every powerful technique, there comes a catch. Her technique wasn’t immediate and needed setup with nails and straw dolls. Additionally, as seen during the Shibuya Arc, she greatly struggled with fast-paced battles and wasn’t as agile as Yuji or Maki.

7. Megumi Fushiguro

Initially planned to be the main protagonist of the series, Megumi Fushiguro unfortunately couldn’t fulfil his potential. However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t strong. He has one of the strongest inherited techniques in the series – the Ten Shadow techniques. He is also very versatile on the battlefield, both offensively and defensively.

However, his Domain is incomplete, and the usage drains him massively. Additionally, his summoning of Mahoraga doesn’t clear a path of victory for him, but warrants mutual destruction. While Megumi is undoubtedly strong, he is nowhere near the top layer of JJK.

6. Kento Nanami

When you think of a strong Jujutsu High teacher, Kento Nanami’s name is hard to miss, especially after the Shibuya Incident Arc. The former salaryman had excellent cursed energy control and fundamental knowledge. Furthermore, his Ratio technique guaranteed him to find weak points in his enemies.

However, the biggest backlash for Nanami’s character, despite him being a mentor figure, was the lack of a Domain Expansion. He was also not very agile in battle, like other speedster characters. But what he lacks in speed, he makes up for in strength.

5. Aoi Todo

If you really think about it, Aoi Todo‘s Boogie Woogie technique is one of the most broken techniques in the JJK verse. Instantly swapping positions on the battlefield, it warrants control and positioning. Furthermore, Todo is not a brute without brains, but probably one of the most intelligent, with excellent battle adaptability.

Given how Domain Expansions are one of the ultimate powerscaling prizes of the series, Todo does not rank higher for the same reason as Nanami – no Domain Expansion. Additionally, his technique is useless without having his hands intact or the lack of a target to swap with on the battlefield.

4. Yuji Itadori

While he is the main protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, he is not the strongest there is, but that doesn’t discredit his strength at all. Yuji Itadori‘s Black Flash is an elite technique that he lands more consistently than any other sorcerers. He also has inhuman physical strength and speed, even without tapping into his Cursed Energy.

And let’s not forget the untapped power of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, within him. However, one of the key reasons he is so low on the list is because of his being shown too little in the series – less screentime equates to less exploration of innate cursed techniques. Furthermore, Yuji is not a ranged attacker and is only effective in close combat.

3. Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin is the prime example of how a drawback becomes an advantage in the JJK universe. Because she has no cursed energy, she is immune to most detections in Domains. Furthermore, she is a monster when it comes to attributes like speed, strength, and wielding a variety of Cursed Tools.

While she is undoubtedly strong, proven by her recent Zenin Clan massacre event, she does not have any Cursed techniques or a Domain of her own. She is more like an assassin who brings massive chaos and destruction with brute strength than supernatural powers.

2. Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta Okkotsu is the second strongest sorcerer in the entire series, falling short of only his mentor, Gojo Satoru. He has almost limitless Cursed Energy, making him not just a formidable fighter on the field, but an almost undefeatable opponent. Additionally, Rika is just a terrifying entity that accompanies him.

His exclusive Copy techniques and Reverse Curse technique are also incredibly powerful strengths that make him a terrifying sorcerer. The reason is not number one is just because Gojo has a more refined technique mastery, domain dominance, and battlefield control.

1. Gojo Satoru

Having Gojo Satoru at the top of a Jujutsu Kaisen powerscaling list is not an unexpected occurrence. He is just uncontested and untouchable when it comes to both Domain Expansion and Cursed techniques. His combo of Limitless and Six Eyes gives him absolute Cursed Energy efficiency and control.

His Domain Expansion technique, the Unlimited Void, is JJK‘s most powerful ability that can dominate and overwhelm opponents almost instantly. Furthermore, he has mastered the use of Hollow Purple, another technique that is lethal in combat. To sum it up, Gojo is the ultimate Jujutsu sorcerer, almost too strong for even the narrative at times. Now, we just wait for his return.
