Davido Says a Collaboration with Tems Would Be a “Banger”
Davido has shared his thoughts on the possibility of collaborating with fellow Nigerian superstar Tems, saying he’s confident the pair could create something special if the opportunity presents itself.
Speaking during a recent interview, the Afrobeats heavyweight revealed that he has a close relationship with Tems‘ manager, Muyiwa “Donawon” Awoniyi, adding that he’s always believed a collaboration between them would be a hit.
“Funny enough, me and her manager, Donawon we’re very close oh. I feel like me and her would make a banger, if it happens,” Davido said.
Although the two award-winning artists are yet to release a song together, fans have long expressed excitement about the prospect of hearing them on the same record. With Davido‘s hitmaking ability and Tems‘ distinctive vocals, a collaboration between the duo has the potential to become one of Afrobeats’ biggest releases.
