The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has announced the release of a branch directory of voters in preparation for the upcoming NBA elections.
This development was disclosed in a notice issued on July 19, 2024, by ECNBA Chairman Oluseun Abimbola SAN and Secretary Huwaila Muhammad Ibrahim.
According to the notice, the ECNBA has published a comprehensive directory of voters listed alphabetically and by branches on their official website, www.ecnba.org. This move is aimed at enhancing transparency and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
The committee emphasized that this directory is in addition to the comprehensive voters list previously published on May 28, 2024. Interested parties can access the Branch Voters’ Directory by visiting the ECNBA website and clicking on the designated link.
The notice also confirmed that campaigning has officially closed in accordance with the election guidelines. With the polls set to open in a matter of hours, the ECNBA has declared that the countdown to the elections has begun.
