The race for places in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League is beginning to take shape, with several of Europe’s biggest clubs already confirmed for next season’s competition. UEFA has also confirmed that England and Spain have secured extra league-phase places for the 2026/27 season through the European Performance Spots system, which rewards the two best-performing associations in European competitions.
