When does Avengers: Endgame return to theaters?
Avengers: Endgame Encore is a special theatrical re-release of the 2019 blockbuster. It is the last released Avengers film in the MCU and will be released in theaters on September 25, 2026.
This special re-release packs an extended cut of nearly 4 minutes, bringing the overall runtime to 185 minutes. The extended cut includes a special introduction, additional footage, and an exclusive post-credits scene. Marvel is releasing the movie in special formats tied to IMAX and Disney’s new Infinity Vision.
The end-tag shot of the new cut connects directly to Avengers: Doomsday, the next major entry in the MCU. Joe Russo said, “There’s a very strong connection between Endgame and Doomsday. And if you see the movie in theaters, you’re going to see some new footage that uh that that illustrates that connection for you.”
Tickets are up for sale for Avengers: Endgame Encore.
