Avatar: The Last Airbender continues to draw a strong audience on Netflix following the release of its Season 2. However, the live-action fantasy series has been unable to overtake the platform’s latest breakout success on the streaming charts. While the adaptation remains among Netflix’s most-watched television shows, I Will Find You currently holds the first position.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 ranks second on Netflix charts
Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the fan-favorite animated series continues to attract a strong audience in the United States.
According to FlixPatrol, Season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender placed second on Netflix’s Top 10 television rankings for June 29, 2026, finishing behind I Will Find You. Nevertheless, the sophomore installment also remained ahead of several other popular shows. This includes Sweet Magnolias, Agent Kim Reactivated, The Polygamist, and America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Netflix dropped all seven episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 on June 25, continuing the live-action adaptation with a new chapter in Aang’s journey. Following the events at the Northern Water Tribe, the story shifts to the Earth Kingdom, where the young Avatar and his companions face new challenges as Fire Lord Ozai’s growing threat looms over the world.
This season follows Aang, Katara, and Sokka as they search for an earthbending master. Their travels bring them into contact with a variety of figures across the Earth Kingdom. Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, and Dallas Liu reprise their roles as Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Zuko, respectively.
Despite the show’s strong performance, Netflix’s latest thriller, I Will Find You, currently occupies the top spot on the platform’s streaming charts. The limited series opened with 24 million views, making it one of the platform’s biggest original series launches of 2026. It is adapted from the novel of the same name.
The story follows David Burroughs, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of his young son despite insisting he is innocent. However, his sister-in-law, Rachel, uncovers evidence suggesting the child may still be alive. The cast members include Sam Worthington as David Burroughs, Britt Lower as Rachel Mills, Milo Ventimiglia as Hayden Payne, Erin Richards as Cheryl Dreason, and more.
