Dave Bautista‘s Kratos training has fans saying the same thing about his physique. The actor has started rebuilding his body for Amazon’s live-action God of War series. Many think the actor needs to bulk up.
The 57-year-old actor shared a video showing his progress after three weeks of weight training. He wrote, “3rd week into weight training again. 2 more months to get to where I need to be. Like ridin a bike! LFG!”

Reacting to it, @MegaMaxing wrote, “A lot of people questioned whether the slimmer Bautista could still physically look like Kratos, and this man basically said give me a few months. Now imagine him two months from now with the beard, bald head, armor and Blades of Chaos.”

What to know about Amazon’s God of War TV Show
Dave Bautista replaced Ryan Hurst as Kratos after Hurst suffered a torn bicep during a stunt. The injury forced Hurst to leave the production, which had already begun filming in Vancouver.
The show has a two-season order from Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television. Ronald D. Moore serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the adaptation.
Callum Vinson plays Atreus, Kratos’ son, with Mandy Patinkin as Odin. Ed Skrein, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Teresa Palmer, Max Parker, and Sonya Walger also have important roles.
The story follows Kratos and Atreus through the dangerous world of Norse mythology. They travel together while carrying out a journey to spread Faye’s ashes.
The series will draw from the 2018 God of War and 2022 God of War Ragnarök games. Amazon has not announced a premiere date for the series yet.
