Netflix’s Baki-Dou just gave Donald Trump an anime debut nobody saw coming. The show’s latest episodes feature a viral Trump parody that has taken the internet by storm.
Donald Trump’s parody gets trolled in Netflix’s Baki
Netflix’s Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai Part 2 has introduced a parody of Donald Trump that quickly went viral online. The new episodes feature a character named “Tranp” on his inauguration day in the series. The scene requires him to pledge loyalty to the franchise’s strongest fighter, Yujiro Hanma.

Tranp initially refuses the oath, declaring it emasculating to bend the knee to another man. He announces his intention to blow off the ritual and end the tradition once and for all. However, upon meeting the hulking Hanma face to face, Tranp urinates in fear and immediately recites the oath.

Creator Keisuke Itagaki has a long history of parodying real-world political figures throughout the franchise. Former U.S. President Barack Obama appears in the series as “Barack Ozma.” A parody of Elon Musk named “Elos” also features in some of the manga’s more controversial storylines.
The Baki franchise centers on Baki Hanma, who trains relentlessly to surpass his father, Yujiro. Baki develops a fighting style that blends multiple martial arts and reaches almost superhuman levels. His abilities allow him to dodge bullets, shatter concrete, and battle seemingly impossible opponents.
By the start of Baki-Dou, Baki faces a new problem after defeating the world’s strongest warriors. He struggles with boredom and cannot find an opponent capable of exciting him anymore. The resurrection of legendary swordsman Musashi Miyamoto finally presents a worthy challenge for him.
The English-language cast includes Troy Baker as Baki Hanma and SungWon Cho as Musashi Miyamoto. Kirk Thornton voices Yujiro Hanma, with Steve Blum portraying Doppo Orochi in the series.
Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai Part 2 is now streaming globally on Netflix.
