Disney has officially launched an all-new campaign for the highly anticipated theatrical releases of three major movies. Called “Disney Blockbuster Summer,” the campaign trailer features an exciting and fun-filled summer, where audiences can enjoy Disney’s newest offerings at home, in theaters, and at theme parks.

What movies are featured in Disney’s summer blockbuster trailer?
The Disney Blockbuster Summer trailer gives the spotlight to Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and Disney’s live-action Moana. It offers a closer look at each movie, while also revealing how fans can enjoy the upcoming releases at home and at Disney theme parks. The video also shows off Disney as the definitive destination for summer entertainment.
“‘Disney Blockbuster Summer’ brings together the best of Disney storytelling and experiences, uniting our biggest films, destinations, streaming, and products into one unforgettable season with more ways, more places, and more moments to create lasting memories,” Disney’s Chief Marketing and Brand Officer, Asad Ayaz, said in a statement. “Whether you want to travel through hyperspace with the Mandalorian and Grogu at Disney Parks, stream a Toy Story movie marathon with friends and family on Disney+, or unlock the power of play with new Moana-inspired toys, there is something for everyone to live their best Disney summer.”
Releasing on May 22, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is directed by Jon Favreau, who also serves as the Star Wars show’s creator and executive producer. The movie will be led by Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin/The Mandalorian, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward.
Set to arrive in theaters on June 19, Toy Story 5 features Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Greta Lee as Lilypad, Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, and Tony Hale as Forky. In the new sequel, the gang will be going up against technology. It is directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) and Kenna Harris, with Lindsey Collins serving as a producer
Debuting on July 10, the live-action Moana movie stars Catherine Laga’aia as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. It is directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail, with Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller writing the script. In addition to returning as the lead, Johnson is also serving as a producer along with songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda.
