According to the usual update schedule, Genshin Impact 6.6 will launch on May 20, 2026, immediately after Version 6.5 Phase 2 ends. Like previous updates, Luna VII is expected to be split into two phases, each lasting around three weeks.
Here is the expected schedule for Version 6.6 banners:
PhaseDatesExpected CharactersPhase 1May 20 – June 10, 2026Nicole, DurinPhase 2June 10 – July 1, 2026Lohen, Mavuika
While HoYoverse has officially confirmed Nicole, Lohen, and Prune, the rerun information currently comes from leaks and may change before release.
Phase 1 Banners
The first half of Luna VII is expected to feature Nicole, a brand-new 5-Star Pyro Catalyst character. Nicole has already appeared in several story scenes and lore-heavy events, making her one of the most anticipated Hexenzirkel-related characters in the game.
Leaks describe Nicole as a powerful support unit capable of providing:
Team-wide ATK buffs
Off-field Pyro damage
Shield utility
Elemental synergy for Hexerei teams
Nicole is also rumored to work extremely well with other Pyro-focused characters and future Hexerei units.
Alongside Nicole, leaks suggest that Durin will receive his first rerun banner. Durin is a 5-Star Pyro Sword character who quickly became popular after his release thanks to his aggressive damage-focused playstyle. Since Nicole appears designed to synergize with Hexerei characters, many players believe Durin’s rerun placement is intentional.
Phase 2 Banners
The second half of Version 6.6 is expected to introduce Lohen, a new 5-Star Cryo Polearm character tied to the Knights of Favonius. Lohen has already appeared in Version 6.5 story content and hidden interactions around Dornman Port, building anticipation ahead of his playable debut.
Based on current leaks, Lohen may focus on sustained Cryo damage and reaction-based gameplay. His signature weapon is also expected to arrive during this phase.
The rerun character for Phase 2 is rumored to be Mavuika, the Pyro Archon. Since her release, Mavuika has consistently been one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, so if you skipped her previously, this could be your chance to get her.
In addition, the new 4-Star Anemo Catalyst character Prune is expected to release in Phase 2, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

As usual, each character banner phase in Luna VII will also feature its down Epitome Invocation weapon banner, featuring signature 5-Star weapons for the characters.
Phase 1 Weapon Banner
The first weapon banner is expected to feature:
Seven Edicts of Dust and Light — Nicole’s signature 5-Star Catalyst
Athame Artis — Durin’s signature 5-Star Sword
Phase 2 Weapon Banner
The second weapon banner is rumored to include:
Disaster and Remorse — Lohen’s signature 5-Star Polearm
A Thousand Blazing Suns — Mavuika’s signature 5-Star Claymore
From what we know, Lohen will be a DPS character, so his signature weapon will cater to that. Meanwhile, A Thousand Blazing Suns is one of the strongest Claymores currently available in the game thanks to its synergy with Pyro DPS characters.
At the moment, the featured 4-Star weapons for both phases have not been officially revealed.
