With one month to go until release, the runtimes for the eight-episode first season of Spider-Man Noir have reportedly been revealed.
Trusted scooper Cryptic HD QUALITY has shared the runtimes for Spider-Noir on the social media platform X. All eight episodes will have a runtime of at least 40 minutes, which lines up with what lead star Nicolas Cage said back in June 2024 about the Spider-Man Noir series.
Episode 1 will run 44 minutes, while Episodes 2, 6, and 7 will last 40 minutes. Episode 3 is 45 minutes. Episodes 4 and 5 are 47 minutes long, while the Season 1 finale will last 46 minutes.

Why will the episode runtimes for Spider-Noir make Marvel fans happy?
Spider-Noir having a consistent runtime of around 45 minutes should make Marvel fans extremely happy, as this is a desire they have had for some time, albeit for the Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+.
The MCU fandom has long voiced their displeasure online with how short some of the Disney+ shows episodes are, as well as the varying runtime length. The team behind Spider-Noir has seemingly read these complaints and made sure that Spider-Noir doesn’t fall victim to the same criticism.
Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. The upcoming series will mark Cage’s second time playing Spider-Noir, after the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He is expected to reprise the role in the film’s forthcoming sequel, Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Steve Lightfoot developed the series and will serve as co-showrunner alongside Oren Uziel, the head writer on the project and an executive producer. Into the Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal will also serve as executive producers on Noir.
All eight episodes of Spider-Noir will be released globally on Prime Video on May 27, 2026, in both black-and-white and color.
