One of the biggest criticisms of the fourth season was that the creators seemed to be running out of ways to raise the stakes. Fans were becoming too familiar with the show’s signature blood and gore. Many felt it was time for the series to bow out while still at its peak. It appears that The Boys is taking all this criticism into account for this fifth & final season.
The new season promises not to hold back on its violent chaos and brutality. The story of this season revolves around both sides’ attempts to get their hands on the last surviving sample of the original Compound V formula.
