Though streaming platforms pack endless options for you to binge on, it’s hard to find something that is truly worth your time. Most of us are stuck in analysis paralysis, scrolling through the endless titles, thinking of whether or not we want to hit the play button. And if that sounds anything like you, we recommend that you take a look at Peacock’s library this March!

The platform is a goldmine of amazing movies, ranging from sci-fi to thrillers, romance, and more. We’ve compiled our top picks from March that will keep you occupied for days. So, without any further ado, here are 15 movies on Peacock that you must watch right away!

15. The Truman Show (1998)

The Truman Show is a satirical sci-fi drama starring Jim Carrey as Truman Burbank. He’s an ordinary insurance salesman, but then he slowly discovers that his entire life is being broadcast as a reality TV show without his knowledge. From his work, to the places, and people, are all designed to keep him in a manufactured world for the entertainment of viewers. The movie is often praised for its philosophical depth, and in today’s age of social media and surveillance, it is more relevant than ever, especially after the rise of shows like Big Brother.

14. The Big Lebowski (1998)

Joel and Ethan Coen’s The Big Lebowski is known for its absurd storytelling style that embraces chaos, rather than sticking to a traditional plot structure. Jeff Bridges plays Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski in the film, and his character is a laid-back man, slacking through life, bowling, and drinking around. But after he is mistaken for a wealthy man, Jeffrey is dragged into a huge and bizarre kidnapping scheme. Today, The Big Lebowski has built a cult following, and though it wasn’t a huge box office hit, the film gained traction through home video and word of mouth.

13. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a romantic sci-fi that features Jim Carrey as Joel and Kate Winslet as Clementine. The two go through a medical procedure to erase memories of each other so they can get through their breakup. But when Joel begins to erase Clementine from his head, he realizes that he still loves her and desperately tries to cling to the memories they shared.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is unlike any other romantic movie you’ll ever watch, with its surreal visuals, raw storytelling, and beautiful performances by both leads. Its screenplay won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, and to this day, the film is recognized as one of the most creative love stories in modern cinema.

12. Coherence (2013)

If you’re in the mood to watch a mind-bending sci-fi psychological thriller, look no further than Coherence. James Ward Byrkit, the writer and director, made his feature debut with this underrated feature that centers on eight friends who gather for a casual dinner party. But then, a mysterious comet passes overhead and their ordinary evening spirals into a night of paranoia and confusion, suggesting that reality itself is either colliding or fracturing into multiple versions of itself. The minimal budget of the movie makes it all the more impressive because it proves that creativity can outweigh spectacle!

11. Requiem for a Dream (2000)

Need a good cry? Or would you like to be haunted by a movie for days? Requiem for a Dream might be just what you’re looking for. This Darren Aronofsky-directed movie stars Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans, and it follows the characters of these four as they try to chase success and happiness in the most harmful way possible. You see how their lives slowly collapse under the weight of addiction, but this movie isn’t just about substance abuse, rather the human craving for validation and escape. The main score of Requiem for a Dream is otherworldly and perfectly pairs with the narrative’s unsettling tone.

10. Spotlight (2015)

Spotlight is a biographical drama that follows the real-life Spotlight team at The Boston Globe who uncovered a decades-long cover-up of child s*xual abuse within the Catholic Church. There are no dramatic twists in the movie because it builds the tension through reports, interviews, document searches, and legal battles, showing what true journalism really stands for. It features excellent actors like Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, and Liev Schreiber, who portray journalists and methodically piece together evidence. Needless to say, Spotlight was praised to no end by critics and even won the Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay Oscar.

9. Lost in Translation (2003)

Lost in Translation is considered Scarlett Johansson’s breakout role, where she stars as Charlotte, alongside Bill Murray’s Bob Harris. Both of them are strangers to each other in the foreign city of Tokyo, but they form an unexpected connection. The Sofia Coppola-directed movie isn’t about traditional romance, but a quiet companionship and existential longing. It has one of the most-talked-about final scenes, and even decades later, it stands out for the atmospheric cinematography and minimalistic storytelling. Lost in Translation also won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, solidifying it as one of the most celebrated movies of the early 2000s.

8. Conclave (2024)

For those who would like to watch a gripping political thriller, add Conclave to your list. The movie made waves in 2024, and it stars Ralph Fiennes as Cardinal Thomas Lawrence, who is tasked with organizing the secretive process of electing a new pope after the previous pontiff’s sudden death. The cardinals gather in the Vatican, and Lawrence keeps on uncovering hidden scandals and power struggles that shake the foundation of the church. The film was a major commercial success and won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay despite its controversial ending that was questioned by several religious speakers.

7. Jackie Brown (1997)

Quentin Tarantino adapted Jackie Brown from Elmore Leonard’s novel, Rum Punch, turning it into a stylish crime drama. It stars Pam Grier as Jackie Brown, who smuggles money for a gun runner, and after being caught, she cleverly devises a risky double-cross scheme.

Being a Tarantino film, you’d expect some flashy violence from Jackie Brown, but this one leans more toward character development and slow-burning storytelling. In today’s time, it’s seen as one of the director’s most mature, grounded works, and rightfully so!

6. Licorice Pizza (2021)

Licorice Pizza stars Philip Seymour Hoffman’s son, Cooper Hoffman, who plays Gary Valentine in this coming-of-age comedy drama. He’s a teenager who forms an unusual friendship with a young adult named Alana, as they drift through quirky business ventures, misadventures, awkwardness, and the excitement of searching for their identity. Paul Thomas Anderson, who recently won Best Director at the Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards, helms this movie and gives it an authentic semi-autobiographical feel!

5. Argo (2012)

Argo is another tense political thriller on the list, directed by and starring Ben Affleck. The movie is inspired by the real events of the Iran hostage crisis and follows Tony Mendez, who lays out an audacious plan to rescue six American diplomats from Tehran.

They pose as filmmakers scouting for a location, and the fake sci-fi movie that they’re pretending to make is named Argo. It’s a high-stakes mission, and while the film takes some creative liberties, it is widely praised for its satire and suspenseful pacing. It won three Oscars: Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay, and Film Editing. Plus other honors like Golden Globes and BAFTAS, though Affleck wasn’t nominated for Best Director by the Academy, somehow.

4. Song Sung Blue (2025)

A movie that didn’t earn enough recognition last year is the heartfelt musical biographical drama starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. It’s a real-life story of a couple who formed a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder.

The narrative is centered on Mike and Claire Sardina, two struggling artists who find connection through music and build a modest career, even though their journey is filled with financial strain, addiction, and illness. However, their shared love, companionship, and resilience keep them going! Hudson and Jackman had great chemistry in Song Sung Blue, which pretty much carried the whole movie!

3. Wicked: For Good (2025)

Jon M. Chu-directed Wicked: For Good is the conclusion to the two-part adaptation of the Broadway musical, where Cynthia Erivo plays Elphaba, and Ariana Grande is Glinda. They’ve both reprised their roles from the first installment, and this part explores how the former friends grow into the identities we know: Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

In Wicked: For Good, we follow Elphaba, who’s in exile, and fighting for the oppressed, while Glinda is celebrated by everyone as the symbol of goodness. Commercially, the movie turned out to be a great success, but reviewers noted that the second part felt a bit slower compared to the first!

2. Bugonia

Bugonia is an Oscar-nominated movie, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, starring none other than Emma Stone! She plays a CEO who becomes the target of a conspiracy-obsessed man named Aidan, portrayed by Jesse Plemons. He believes she is an actual alien and kidnaps her for the same, believing that she and her kind are secretly planning to destroy Earth.

Most of the story plays out while Stone’s character is held in captivity, as Aidan tries everything to make her confess her identity. The bizarre premise translates brilliantly on the screen, and while Stone is great as always, many feel that Plemons’ performance was quite underrated, and he should have been nominated for an Oscar!

1. Hamnet (2025)

A still from Hamnet | Credits: Focus Features

Everyone and their mother is crying over Hamnet! It’s one of the most devastating yet beautiful movies to come out last year, and it’s inspired by Maggie O’Farrell’s novel about William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes, dealing with the loss of their son.

Though the story is fictional, it features an intimate portrait of their marriage, family life, and eventual loss. Jessie Buckley literally won every single Best Actress award there is, including an Oscar, because she was simply phenomenal in every way possible. If there’s even one movie that you end up watching from this list, let it be Hamnet!
