Crazy, gory, and absurd. That’s what fans are expecting Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 4 to be. Following his recent announcement, the internet has been buzzing with theories of who or what Deadpool could kill within the realms of the MCU.

From a potential return of Josh Brolin as Cable to Deadpool killing the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as a way of rebooting it, here’s what fans are looking for in Deadpool 4.

10. A Hell Lot of Justin Baldoni Jokes

Yes, we know it’s mean… but so is Deadpool. With a lawsuit involving Blake Lively (Ryan Reynolds’ wife) and Justin Baldoni, fans want to see Deadpool crack some sarcastic meta jokes about the whole ordeal.

Back in Deadpool & Wolverine, the merc-with-a-mouth didn’t shy away from dissing 20th Century Fox (the studio that helped create Deadpool). What’s stopping him from poking jokes at a real-life celebrity?

9. Deadpool Accidentally Creates Doctor Doom

Yeah, he looks grumpy, doesn’t he? One wild fan request is for Deadpool to switch timelines (like he did at the end of Deadpool 2). This could eventually lead to the TVA interfering with Deadpool.

The mercenary could easily escape the TVA (because he’s a genius) and set off a chain reaction that could lead to the birth of Doctor Doom. Fans aren’t sure, but it’s possible Deadpool stole equipment from Doctor Doom’s explosive machine to get back to his timeline, scarring Doctor Doom and creating a new villain.

8. Deadpool Teams Up With The New Avengers

Thunderbolts* was an iconic movie that revived Marvel team-up movies following Avengers: Endgame. Now, imagine the Thunderbolts tasked to clear a building, and once they enter, they see Deadpool eating chimi-changas.

Well, that is exactly what fans want Deadpool to do in Deadpool 4. Being a veteran with a heck of a lot of experience in slicing things in two, Deadpool could be the leader of the Thunderbolts, aka the New Avengers, and lead the charge against Doctor Doom on his unicorn.

Of course, these theories are getting more and more absurd, but with Deadpool, there is a possibility that anything is possible.

7. Deadpool Getting into a Relationship With Lady Death

Fans of Deadpool have been waiting to see Lady Death get introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a long while. With Thanos being her lover (though not shown), Lady Death might be lonely following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Deadpool, having the gift of immortality, cannot die. Thus, in the comics, he is in a long-distance relationship with Lady Death, and the two seldom meet. In the comics, Thanos was so jealous of Lady Death and Deadpool’s relationship that he cursed Deadpool with immortal life, ensuring he could never meet Lady Death again.

6. Deadpool Goes to DC

James Gunn has often showcased his interest in merging Marvel and DC in a potential crossover event. Who better to bring the two cinematic universes closer than the Merc with a Mouth?

Fans do want Deadpool to cross over into the DCU and have cameos from Batman and Superman. The more absurd fans want Deadpool to kill Superman and team up with Batman to wreak justice across Gotham City, but if Deadpool goes to DC, what will happen to the MCU?

On a more serious note, fans would actually want Deadpool to have a slight crossover with the DCU, potentially interact with Superman and Batman (if the movie ever does release), and then return to his own timeline. James Gunn, make it happen.

5. Cable Needs to Come Back

Deadpool’s chemistry with Josh Brolin’s Cable has been nothing short of iconic. Fans loved their interaction and Cable’s annoyance in Deadpool 2, and it’s been a long time since we have heard “Zip it, Thanos.”

Although there have been rumors that Brolin might return to the MCU as Thanos, it would be more fun if Brolin were to continue portraying the role of Cable, and everyone would just compare his voice to Thanos all the time.

4. Spider-Man Teams Up With Deadpool

Spider-Man and Deadpool have been friends for a long time. Being street-level heroes, the two have done many adventures together in Marvel Comics, with Deadpool being the protective (and chaotic) elder brother. At the same time, Spider-Man just questions everything he does.

The comics are funny, fast-paced, unintelligible, and utterly chaotic. With Tom Holland appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, maybe Kevin Feige could give fans what they want and have a Deadpool-Spider-Man team-up movie.

3. Deadpool Kills Deadpool

Being heavily obsessed with meta jokes and fourth-wall punches, fans want Deadpool to fight against Deadpool (from another universe). With the MCU going full-fledged into the concepts of Multiverse and Variants, what’s stopping Deadpool variants from entering Earth-616?

Deadpool could potentially face off against himself (since he is his greatest enemy). Still, the fight could take on a different direction as both Deadpool become friends, or maybe Wolverine injures the wrong Deadpool (intentionally)?

Based on the Cullen Bunn comic book run, Deadpool Kills Deadpool could work well for Deadpool 4.

2. Deadpool Can’t Get a Movie Made

This one is inspired by the video game Deadpool (2013). Being a fourth-wall-breaking game, fans have a wild theory where Deadpool goes on a crazy rampage and does the most bizarre things in the MCU.

Right when he is about to kill Thor, the tape scratches, and we see Ryan Reynolds discussing this with Kevin Feige. Feige simply responds that this couldn’t happen, and no one has the money to do all of that. This would be the most Deadpool thing that the MCU could ever do.

Robbing people of a finale and making them invested in the movie, this theory could end up on a top 10 movies with a twist list if it were to happen. Of course, no one has the extra money to do that… or do they?

1. Deadpool Kills The MCU

Yes… The wildest moment in Deadpool’s hitman career so far. Being admitted to an asylum by the X-Men, Deadpool is brainwashed, which makes him even crazier.

Going on a rampage, Deadpool breaks out of the hospital and kills off every superhero one by one. Starting with the Fantastic Four and even killing the Watcher, Deadpool breaks out of the comic panel, and the final pages of the comic see Deadpool killing the writers.

Once he is done with the universe, Deadpool looks at the reader and says, “I’ll find you soon enough”. Fans think this would be one hell of a way to give the MCU a soft reboot, as Kevin Feige wants following Avengers: Secret Wars.

This would potentially be the craziest thing to happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is Deadpool that we are talking about.
