Netflix‘s upcoming documentary One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 won’t feature interviews with two of the show’s most popular actors.

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 will feature interviews with the cast and crew about the final season of the landmark show. Two actors who did not interview for the Stranger Things documentary were Winona Ryder and David Harbour.

Why won’t Winona Ryder and David Harbour be in the Stranger Things documentary?

While speaking with Variety, director Martina Radwan explained how scheduling conflicts led to the exclusion of Ryder and Harbour from the documentary.

“No, they’re not. We just didn’t get the time,” Radwan said. “They were busy with other projects, and so we didn’t have the time to sit down.”

When asked about interviewing the actors on set, Radwan reemphasized that timing was an issue.

“Unfortunately, with David and Winona, we couldn’t find the time,” Radwan added. “We tried.”

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 offers fans an inside look at the creation of the final season, which was filmed over the course of a year.

“A decade after rewiring pop culture, Stranger Things returns for its final chapter,” the Netflix synopsis reads. “One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things Season 5 is a sweeping behind-the-scenes chronicle that follows the cast, creators, and crew as they bring the final season to life — and say goodbye to the show that changed them forever.” 

All eight episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 are now streaming on Netflix. Thanks to the finale on December 31, Stranger Things Season 5 is ranked the No. 1 show on Netflix’s Top 10. The fifth season is already No. 9 on the streamer’s all-time most popular shows list.

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 premieres January 12 on Netflix.
