This film is a first for the series, featuring a boy who possesses the power of Godzilla, and we believe it will be able to more deeply portray both the fear and hope of the modern era.
While the news is certainly exciting, not much is revealed about the anime series. In fact, the official name of the show has also been kept a mystery. Thus, fans will have to wait for other major announcements to find out more about the new Godzilla anime project.

TOHO also revealed concept art showcasing the mysterious boy preparing to unleash a radiant heat ray, which is more or less inspired by Godzilla’s iconic atomic breath.
This fresh idea blends the classic Kaiju powers with the fun, energetic style of anime, giving fans something new to look forward to in terms of the story and visual style.

Orange, the studio behind Godzilla Singular Point, is co-producing the new anime along with the Thai studio IGLOO STUDIO, known for My Daemon. Since this project follows the 2021 anime Godzilla Singular Point, which mixed the classic kaiju action with a fresh sci-fi story, there is a chance the new series might have some connection to its predecessor.
However, this may not excite everyone, as Godzilla Singular Point received a fairly mild reception. Still, with two experienced studios working together, fans are hoping the new series will bring something more engaging and memorable within the Godzilla universe.
