As for Murderbot, it could be the beginning of something at the end of this season. Talking in an interview about a potential season 2, Paul said:
We would make sure that Martha liked what we were thinking, for sure. We love that there’s a real ending to the first season, but also the ending is the beginning of something Murderbot [as a character]

Chris added further on the matter:
If people like the first season, there’ll be a desire to see Murderbot reunited in some fashion with the [other characters it meets],” Chris Weitz added. “I think that that would be something that we’d really want to look at in terms of figuring out what a second season would look like.
We know that Martha Wells, the brilliant author behind the novels, closely worked with the production team in the capacity of an executive producer to create Murderbot season 1 from her hit novel All Systems Red. Whether or not there’s a revival of Murderbot, including other favorite characters from the show, is a collaborative creative decision that will be made keeping all possibilities and conditions.
