You traveled alone with the same Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, to Geneva, Switzerland, for the International Inter-Parliamentary Conference. You even sat beside him throughout the conference.
You took photos of yourself sitting with him and posted them across all your social media handles, beaming with smiles. Your husband was not there with you and never traveled with you on that work trip. Above all, no other female senators who had been in the Senate before you enjoyed the privilege of an international trip.
How come Akpabio never harassed you in Geneva, on neutral ground outside Nigeria, where I believe you all lodged in the same five-star hotel with everyone on that trip? Your husband was not there, and it was a very convenient opportunity for a man who is supposedly a predator. Yet, he never harassed you in Geneva.
But according to you, over two years before that Geneva trip, in his own house back in Akwa Ibom, when Akpabio was taking you and your husband on a tour of his home, he chose that occasion—while your husband was right behind both of you—to sexually harass you. But in Geneva, where it was just you and him, likely staying in the same hotel on a work trip, he did not harass you.

Okay, since the case of this sexual harrasment is in court, we look forward to the unassailable evidence to back it up.

I listened to Natasha’s narration of what transpired at Akpabio’s house and she made sure to emphasize that it occurred in your presence. She went on to say you even noticed and asked to know what was going on.
That it happened in your presence, leaves an unpalatably sour taste in the mouth because it speaks very little about your respectability as a husband and as a man. That said, I also wonder what kind of a woman could be asked out so disreputably in the presence of her husband.
For your wife to be asked out so dishonorably in front of you means one or all of these three things:
1. That Akapbio is a very crazy and prurient man who has no respect for you personally or his fellow men in general.
2. That your wife who allowed a man chasing her to hold her hands in your presence is a very libidinously lascivious woman.
3. That she is a very smart lawyer with the intendment of inserting you into the narrative for the singular purpose of making you a witness.
In all the scenarios it tells that you are not thinking this through: In the first scenario, you demonstrated subservience to Akpabio and in the last two scenarios, you showed excessive tolerance as a husband of a lascivious wife or the tolerant husband who wants to help a manipulative wife to grant credence to falsehood. This is just my opinion bereft of any proclivities.
