Bride’s father cautions groom against insisting on outdated traditional marriage values (video)

A father has warned his daughter’s husband against causing issues in his marriage by holding on to outdated traditional marriage values. 

The newlwed couple were at their wedding reception when the bride’s father gave a speech directed at his son-in-law. 

He said: “Don’t believe in what this our culture brings, that you as the husband, you are the head of the family, when you come, you frown your face, that you’re there as a father and you’ll be opening your hand, ‘Where’s my food?’ 

“Who told you that she has to cook for you? Nowhere. Nobody. It’s at her own volition; because she wants to make you happy, she wants to enter Aljannah, and she’s going extra mile. 

“Wallahi, at times, when I go to my house, they say there is no food. My wife here, she can testify.” 

The groom is seen listening intently as his father-in-law speaks while the bride is seen smiling proudly at her father.
