Today I saw a post made by Bianca Ojukwu, that I would love for you all to read and learn from.
Yes, Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Lt Colonel of the Nigeria Army and the Biafran War Lord.
According to her, she got the contact of a baker who she heard bakes good cakes, so she wanted her to make her wedding cake in 1994.
She went to the baker’s house in Enugu with her friend to talk about the cake, and she was wearing casual outfits.

The woman took one look at Bianca and her friend and concluded that she could not afford to pay her and she told her as such.
Since she bakes for the high and mighty of the society, from bank managers to top boutique owners.
When Bianca told her she could afford any amount for the cake, she was still making one excuse after another.
She later told Biance to write down her number, and that she would get back to her, but she never did.
It was the head chef at the Nicon Hilton, now Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, who begged Bianca to allow him to bake her wedding cake for free.
Since the wedding reception would take place at the hotel, they needed the PR. She took the generous offer.
A few weeks before the wedding, all the radio stations, and television stations, aired it, even in newspapers too.
The baker on seeing the news and realizing who Bianca was, came to her house apologizing and begging to bake the cake for free.
It was already too late.
The baker lost the opportunity of showcasing her craft as well as gaining massive clients in the process.
All because she was more interested in status and would not work for someone she felt was beneath her.
She closed down her business a few years later because she was having client issues. Little wonder.
If you are still looking down on people because of their status, now is a good time to change.
