Microsoft arrived with the Xbox Partner Preview, a new event format broadcast online that brought new material from some upcoming games. The most excited fans were already excited about the remote possibility of an official reveal of GTA VI, and the event wasn’t all that, nor did it bring anything very shocking to shake the structures of the gaming community.
Xbox Partner Preview 2023 Shows Some News on Upcoming Games
The Xbox event wasn’t that surprising, but it brought interesting news.
However, in the almost half-hour presentation, Xbox Partner Preview showed a little more about Alan Wake 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, ARK: Survival Ascended, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, among others. And here we are to comment on what was shown and what we can expect from some upcoming titles:
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Graphics are the highlight in the first revealed gameplay of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater at Xbox Partner Preview.
Konami decided to help with Xbox Partner Preview and shared the first official gameplay of the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The remake was announced in May of this year at an event by rival PlayStation, and while this project is slowly approaching launch, like Snake himself, the video came out of stealth to surprise the saga’s most avid fans.
It didn’t last long, but the reveal did what it was supposed to and dazzled gamers’ eyes with its stunning visuals, proving what this revamp can offer while developed in Unreal Engine 5.
RoboCop: Rogue City
The gameplay and story of RoboCop: Rogue City are better shown in the new trailer.
The Xbox Partner Preview also brought a new trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City that shows a few more glimpses of the gameplay, the game’s story, and the characters in it. The weapons that the police android will use and the challenges that the player controlling him will face are highlighted in the video. The franchise’s licensed game doesn’t look like the most polished, but it also doesn’t fall short in terms of fun, undoubtedly surfing the hype and mechanics of Cyberpunk 2077.
Nothing is more fair than having inspired this entire futuristic scenario.
ARK: Survival Ascended
Xbox Partner Preview revealed the first look at Ark: Survival Ascended.
Unreal Engine 5 returns to bringing magnificent visuals with the remake of ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK: Survival Ascended, which got its first glimpses at Xbox Partner Preview. Fans can revisit the game and its creatures with an updated look, but in addition to a visual overhaul, ARK: Survival Ascended will also have multiplatform support with several functions. The game still suffers as it is not what fans of the franchise most expect from the franchise, while Ark II is still to come.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
You can own and manage your own resort in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The RPG, by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega, was another upcoming release with a fresh trailer at Xbox Partner Preview. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth continues the franchise’s timeline and includes detailed minigames that are unnecessary to the game’s story but are just as wonderful as the main campaign.
Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Trailer is Here! Features Daniel Dae Kim, Danny Trejo and More…
The January 2024 release will allow players to visit or even ride a dolphin on DonDoko Island, the beautiful resort that will need your help to build and manage. In addition to understanding gamers’ desires and managing a second life, the game also allows you to choose where shops and decorations are located, characters and animals to interact with, and bandits to fight.
Ikaro: Will Not Die
Revealed at the event, Ikaro: Will Not Die is like a Rogue-Lite, but very frantic.
Opening the exclusive reveals of Xbox Partner Preview, FuturLab and Thunderful presented the gameplay of Ikaro: Will Not Die, their new fast-paced game with rogue-lite hints. The video is set in a futuristic installation full of neon and potential fun that players can have. Other, clearer information about the game was not delivered, and those excited by the reveal trailer can only wait for future news.
Robocop: Rogue City’s Nintendo Switch Version Has Been Cancelled
Some content creators are already playing with this, but it’s worth noting that Ikaro: Will Not Die is the second of ten games at the event in a futuristic setting that has been dominating the industry scene for a long time.
The Finals
Another gameplay trailer and an open beta arrive for The Finals.
The free-to-play, team-based, competitive first-person shooter got an open beta for Xbox on Thursday, October 26th. The Finals tries to differentiate itself by being set within a game show scenario within a virtual world that you can “change, explore and even destroy.” A new concept for a well-known mechanic, we’ll see how this combination will perform in the hands of players and whether its official launch will be sincerely expected after this beta.
Spirit of the North 2
To go home, a fox and a raven must come together and restore the lost guardians in Spirit of the North 2.
The fox returns, his time with a crow, in the sequel to the 2019 game, where the duo of protagonists must unite and work together to restore the lost guardians, doing everything to find their way home. Your path will cross with the dark shaman Grimnir, and the beautiful world will become more dangerous and more difficult to survive. The third-person adventure was also another Xbox Partner Preview exclusive announcement.
Dungeons of Hinterberg
The action-adventure and social simulation game gets a gameplay trailer.
With its release scheduled for 2024, Dungeons of Hinterberg has a trailer that goes from combat to the game’s social interactions. Luisa, the protagonist, shows how she manages to balance fights and relationships while carrying a sword and a tour guide in this video that exudes the cartoonish style of the title. The Microsoft exclusive explores the alpine village and the magic hidden in its dungeons through solving puzzles or fighting monsters.
Still Wakes the Deep
Still Wakes the Deep brings another of the event’s gameplay trailers and is probably the scariest.
Almost closing the list of announcements during Xbox Partner Preview, developer The Chinese Room brings its new narrative horror game that will take players to 1975, on a mysterious oil platform in the sea off Scotland. The gameplay video shown teases the scares and horrors that await anyone who plays this frightening adventure. The story of Still Wakes the Deep will follow the team’s rescue from a supernatural horror that defies logic and their skill as gamers.
Manor Lords
Yet another gameplay trailer and PC Game Pass release date is what Manor Lords brings to the table.
Rounding off the news from Xbox Partner Preview, the strategy and simulation game set to be released in April next year has a trailer showing the action, where players will be able to build their dream medieval city and protect its inhabitants at all costs. Manor Lords is an upcoming historical game from developer Slavic Magic and distributor Hooded Horsen that will arrive in Game Preview for Windows and PC Game Pass and later for Xbox consoles.
