Steven Spielberg‘s upcoming Disclosure Day is one of the most anticipated of the year. Ahead of its release, let’s look at the predictions for the movie’s Rotten Tomato score and box office.

Disclosure Day’s is set for release on June 12, 2026, and it features a massive cast led by Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, and more. Based on a story by Spielberg, the script for Disclosure Day was written by David Koepp, who previously worked with the Jaws director on films such as Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Disclosure Day’s RT score and box office predictions

When it comes to Disclosure Day’s Rotten Tomatoes score, that is a bit up in the air. It’s hard to exactly predict what the movie’s critic score will be, but we do have some things to look at. First, early social media reactions for the movie. Earlier this month, early reactions for Disclosure Day came in, and all seemed to be positive. Many praised the performances of Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor, as well as Spielberg’s story.

In this sense, it’s hard to project what a RT score will be based just off that, but it’s safe to assume it will be a good one. When it comes to oddsmakers, there’s very few places that track this sort of stuff, but market site Kalshi does. On their site, the current prediction for the score sits at a lofty 90.5, which suggests the film is going to do very well on Rotten Tomatoes when it arrives.

When it comes to box office, that’s a little easier to track. According to new projections from Box Office Pro (via Koimoi), Disclosure Day is tracking to earn between $40-50 million in its opening weekend domestically. On Box Office Theory, the movie is tracking to earn anywhere between $45-59 million domestically, giving us a pretty solid estimation. It’s hard to factor in what the global will be, but Box Office Theory does have Disclosure’s total domestic forecast to be somewhere in the range of $140-220 million, depending on certain factors.

Given this range, it’s a somewhat safe estimate the film will eclipse at least the $200 million mark in totality, once global box office is taken into account. This wouldn’t be a major hit for Spielberg in the grand scheme of his resume, but would be one of his biggest releases of this era of his career. Given the fact that Disclosure Day seems more skewed to an adult audience, and hasn’t been advertised with the type of mega blockbuster flair of UFO movies past, this would likely be a pretty big success, all things considered.
