The final Disclosure Day trailer finally shows off more of the aliens in Steven Spielberg’s new movie. With our final look at the movie, we saw even more of what promises to be a massive sci-fi movie.
Disclosure Day’s is set for release on June 12, 2026, and features a massive cast, led by Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, and more. Based on a story by Spielberg, the script for Disclosure Day was written by David Koepp, who previously worked with the Jaws director on films such as Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
“If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

The Disclosure Day trailer, like many of its previous trailers, leans into the sci-fi majesty of the upcoming movie. The movie has slowly been giving us more and more hints at the alien threat that will be at the forefront of the movie. The final trailer, released today, finally gives us a look at the actual aliens that will be appearing in the upcoming movie, and judging by the footage, Spielberg is ready to fully lean into the extraterrestrial aspect.
The new trailer highlights Josh O’Connor’s Daniel Kellner, a cybersecurity expert-turned-whistle-blower who is looking to tell the world about a massive secret. Unlike some of Spielberg’s recent movies, Disclosure Day looks to be going full-tilt into the world of action Some massive set pieces appear in the trailer, including a car chase involving O’Connor and Emily Blunt as they’re chased down by government agents.
The trailer also highlights the overall tone of the movie, provided by Spielberg in a voiceover. According to the legendary director, his goal in the film is to showcase the potential togetherness that can occur when disclosure happens, and show how humanity can unite in the face of such an event. It’s a hopeful undertone that isn’t shown off a ton in the trailer, but is one that adds an even more interesting layer to it.
